American Ninja Warrior on NBC

This is a quick review of American Ninja Warrior on NBC.

Ok Today was the first time I heard about American Ninja Warrior airing on NBC. This has always been the baby of G4. Now while I understand the owners of the network deal. I dont understand the nature of bringing a show, based to reward, where winning allows you to take part in Sauske (the real name for G4's Ninja Warrior). Then after watching just a few of this then I understood.

Not only did thy not show any of the show that it was originally based on they showed it as ONLY american were taking part in this tournament. I continued to think. What in the blue hell is this??? Where are the all stars? Why am I not seeing people that I have watched MANY times??? Why are you acting like they don't exist NBC?? Not only that but you stretch out the 9 competitors attempts at the course over 2 hours??? What in the blue ball hell makes you think that is a good idea??  Hell G4 shows the whole tournament a some odd 2000 competitors in what 2 30 minute episodes. Why the hell did you stretch it like that?? Why did you not show it as it should be? Why are you using the awful host? This should be Allison Haislip's show BUT no you let meat head one and two talk about the show in a incredibly predictable manner. Not only is this dropping the ball NBC this is throwing it off the cliff. This felt like the FIRST Iron Chef America did. Here you go American fans we'll import it for you and Americanize it so you wont be confused. Not realizing in the slightest that you take away all the charm it had.

Before you point out that those 2 guys hosted the lead up on G4. I will concede that you are correct but it doesn't change the fact that my toaster is better. It was just fucking awful once again proving that networks have No fucking idea what they are doing.

1 out of 5 with a giant bucket of fail
